Minutes approved as printed on web.
$6,132.75 in the general account.
Sales pitch for TOSRV West items made by Wayne.
Old Business
Julie would like to distribute more of the ride lists. Wayne needs more rides
for summer season. Lech volunteered to distribute.
A bridge has been proposed over E Broadway near MacDonald’s. A discussion was
held to consider the implications. Should the club write a letter? Illustration
was shown to those present. The MDT and the City Bike-Ped Office are questioning
funding priorities.
Kristi Dubois, suggested the need for a bike path in the Grant Creek area. Julie
told us about the State Trails Advisory Committee: they okay grants for projects
like this. Project described and discussed. It would be a city and county
project.
Phil Stauffer made the proposal for a BWBW event re: the Moon/Randolph
Homestead/ “Ride and Bike to the Moon.” Group thought a donated food would work.
New Business
A TOSRV West report was given by Lech, showing off the colorful application
form. We have a few apps in already. Wayne has put ads in other club
newsletters. Sad to say that there will be no “dried plums” this year. Lech
promises Vienna sausages and pork rinds!
Lech heard from Kate at Travelers Rest State Park re: a September “Bike Parade”
ride to Florence. It was decided to try to contact her this weekend on our
training ride.
Adjourned at 7:30 pm.
