TOSRV West 2008

A discussion the upcoming event brought up the possibility of alternative routes, , the desire to continue the event and the slate of training rides, the money raising aspect of the ride and whether sponsorship or having a specific fund raising cause would boost participation.

A planning meeting for TOSRV West will be held on Wednesday, December 5, at 7:00 pm in the Adventure Cycling Meeting Room. Club members are encouraged to attend and discuss the possibilities. Julie will email members with an invitation and reminder.

MOBI Holiday Party

The annual Holiday Party will be held on December 11, 2007 at Paxson School, starting at 6:30 pm. Everyone is invited. It will be a potluck and suggestions for items to bring will be posted in the December newsletter. MOBI will provide beverages, plates and utensils. A program will follow the meal.

Shirley Braxton invites all her friends to attend her Piano Recital, One Piano/Four Hands, with Lucien Hut, on November 30, 2007 at 7:30 pm in the Missoula Alliance Church, 100 E. Foss Court (off Hillview Way).

Program: Bicycling Corsica

Greg Lovellette presented a slide show and commentary on a 12 day bicycle tour of the island of Corsica. Greg and his wife organized the self-contained bicycle trip as part of four week trip to France this past summer. The views were breathtaking, the route strenuous, food expensive but good wine cheap.
