Treasurer’s Report

Balance: $4,183.85. Donations to Potomac Valley 4H and Seeley Lake Senior Center have not been sent.

Discussion

Donations of $500 each for the Potomac Valley 4H and the Seeley Lake Senior Center were approved. The sums represent last year’s donation. Tim Marchant will address the possibility of lowered expectations for 2009 donations in the event the club’s finances and TOSRV registration are down.

It was proposed and agreed to raise MOBI membership dues to $20 for an individual, $25 for a family and $15 for students.

Associate membership for participation in club rides was discussed and will be addressed in Bylaws revision.

Julie will research insurance coverage for MOBI events and attempt to obtain documentation for directors.

Bylaws of Missoulians on Bicycles, Inc. were distributed and revisions were discussed. Changes were proposed for associate membership, term limits of directors and officers, participation in MOBI events, election of directors and officers, and term of membership. Susan and Tom Roy will work on draft of revisions for inclusion in the next newsletter and a vote at the next meeting.

Election of directors/officers will be deferred to December meeting during holiday party.

TOSRV West dates will be May 30 and 31, 2009. Tim Marchant will explore use of Swan Lake Community Center for TOSRV W.

Lech Szumera reported on progress of Progressive Dinner on October 26.
