April 17, Saturday

Perma Loop

  • Meeting Place: Carpool from Missoula at 8:30 a.m. or meet at Perma Bridge at 10:00 a.m.
  • Distance: 50 mile loop
  • Pace: Relaxed/Moderate

  • Bring a lunch to eat by Rainbow Lake.  We'll wave to the Hot Springs riders as they climb the big  hill--and we sail down it! 

 

April 17 & 18, Saturday-Sunday

Hot Springs Overnight Ride

  • Distance: 103
  • Pace: Moderate

  • Starting in Ravalli, ride through beautiful countryside past Oreo cows, Fjord horses and herds of llamas to the historic Symes Hotel in Hot Springs. Enjoy a soothing soak in the hot springs, great food and evening entertainment. 62 miles on Saturday and 41 miles on Sunday. $10.00 deposit by April 6th. 

 

May 1-2, Saturday-Sunday

25th Annual Georgetown Lake Loop

  • Meeting Place: contact ride leader
  • Distance: 120 mi
  • Pace: moderate

  • An overnight ride starting in Deerlodge. We'll ride to Anaconda, up to Georgetown Lake then down into the small town of Philipsburg where we'll spend the night at the Inn at Philipsburg. Explore the candy store and funky shops in town before a sumptuous dinner at the Philipsburg Cafe. Sunday we ride back to Deerlodge via the backroads.
  • To sign-up, send $10 to Julie by April 22nd. Hurry, this ride fills fast. Limited to the first 20 riders.

 

May 8-9, Saturday-Sunday

Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes Overnight

  • Meeting Place: Carpool from Missoula. Meet at Mullan Trailhead at 10 a.m.
  • Distance: 144 miles (two days)
  • Pace: moderate

  • Ride the beautiful rail trail from Mullan to Harrison (57 miles) or Plummer (72 miles).

Mission  Meanderings

  • Meeting Place: Carpool from  Missoula at 8 a.m.  Meet in Ravalli at 9:00 a.m. (95 mile option), or Moiese (75 mile option) at 10 a.m.
  • Distance: 75 mile or 95 mile options.
  • Pace: moderate/advanced
  • Ride Leader: Patty McIntire 745-4549, cell 544-3757
  • This ride has two options—95 mile loop leaves from Ravalli and 75 mile loop leaves from Moiese. We’ll travel north through the Moiese Valley to Polson and return via the rail trail/bike path to Ronan, continuing south  through Charlo.  All paved roads except for a short 4.5-mile stretch along the Flathead River.  A shuttle vehicle will be available for those who want to use it through this stretch.
