The calendar below lists MOBI rides and other Regional Events.  MOBI rides are preceeded by a star (*).  Missoulians on Bicycles welcomes all cyclists to join us on our rides. Club members may attend as many rides as they like; first time guests are welcome too. Soon, you can also download a PDF version of our ride list. If you continue to ride with us, our insurance coverage requires that you join the club.

Lead a ride.  Volunteer to lead one of the starred (*) rides on our calendar  or add your favorite ride to our calendar.  It's fun, you'll meet some great people and no experience is required.  Contact Tim Marchant, highplainsdrafter@gmail.com. You can view our ride leader guidelines.

2018 Ride list:

March 10, Saturday.   Lolo Relief. Meet at the bridge over S. Reserve at 10 AM for a low key season opener ride.  We'll ride the recently completed bike path to Lolo and back.  Possibly stopping for a snack at McDonalds, or whatever option we find open.  Since this is the first ride of the year, we encourage riders to give back to the trail by planning on picking up at least one piece of litter.  Leader: Greg Siple. (406) 529 - 7508.

March 11, Sunday.  Turah Turn.  Meet at the Eastgate Plaza Parking Lot at Noon to take advantage of the warm temps for a spin out 200 and the frontage to Turah and back.  We'll turn around at the Turah turnoff, with of course the option to go a little further if your legs are feeling it in the sunshine.   Leader: Milt Clark. (406) 549 - 3320.  If you can, reach out to Milt before the ride so he knows to expect you.

Sunday, March 18, 11:00am, Happy Trails Ride (30 mi.) on the Lolo Bike/Ped Trail. Meet at
Conoco in Lolo, at 11:00 am, ride the paved bike trail to Bass Creek Campground for a snack.
Travel back to Florence for lunch at Café Firenze (great soup). A shorter ride, only 20 miles,
will go to Florence. Ride Leader: Lech Szumera 406-207- 1225.

March 24, Saturday. Bitterroot Bumble (54+ mi.) Meet at the Park and Ride lot 3 miles south of Lolo at 10 AM.  Ride the bike path to Bell Crossing. Turn East, cross the river and take Willoughby Lane into the rolling hills of the East Side. Enjoy stunning views of the Bitterroots and meander down to Stevi for lunch at a local restaurant. Head back on the path or explore back roads and a few miles of gravel on the way back to Florence.  Since the bike path from Missoula to Lolo is now open, there is an option to meet in town at 9 am to get in an extra 20 miles round trip.   In the past, some folks have met at the Stevensville cutoff at 11 am to ride just the southern portion of the loop.  Join us for any or all!  Leader:  Norman Singley, normsingley@gmail.com. (406) 370 - 3739.
